An Assimilation Simulation

Play as a swarm of critters with the objective of converting all other life-forms to your colour (the interpretation of any symbolism or metaphor behind this is left as an exersise for the reader, go nuts!)

The Game

You can influence your swarm to move towards a location by left clicking on it. Note there is an influence radius and the larger your swam gets, the harder it will be to control!

Critters will be converted from one colour to the other if they are surrounded by more of that colour than their current colour. Make sure you only engage enemy swarms when you can comfortably outnumber them.

Convert all critters to your colour to win the game!

Simulation Mode

At any point you can enable simulation mode, either from the introduction dialogue or from the menu in the upper left.

Simulation mode disables all game mechanics and lets you watch critters roam around and convert each other to your heart's content. Feel free to modify the parameters of the simulation as well, and see how it affects the swarming behaviour of the critters.
